Othel has visited my Quantity Food Preparation class on several occasions over the last couple years. It is always a hit with the students. Othel’s thoughtful approach to cooking and teaching about food is engaging and fun. He has a way with students that helps them feel comfortable with the new tasks they are learning. His food is always creative and delicious, but how he includes the students, gains their trust, and teaches them new concepts is always the real testament to the experience.

Chef Othel is incredible! He has crafted and executed several special dinners for our annual family reunions and vacations. He is a one-man show, and handles the shopping, preparation, cooking and service with a smile and great southern hospitality. His low country boil with grits, roasted vegetables, peach cobbler and banana pudding is a meal my family still talks about to this day! Chef Othel feels like family, and we look forward to our next meal with him at the helm. He is lovely, courteous and talented. How nice it is to enjoy our extended family while Chef Othel handles creating a marvelous dining experience for everyone!

Othel prepared a small luncheon for me with meats, cheeses, fruits, veggies and sliders. The presentation was excellent and colorful! He creatively shaped and arranged a variety of fresh fruits and veggies on platters. Everything was delicious, filling and healthy. The turkey burgers and chicken salad were a big hit. My guests went back for seconds and thirds.
